This site is a
collaborative effort. My huband Paul loves photography and most of the
pictures on this site are his work. I on the other hand, could not take
a picture if my life depended on it. I don't seem to have that elusive "
eye".
I do however love playing with my computer and so I inserted that
sketch of us to the right. I am also the person who is
building
this website,
using Site Build It.
Their mentoring, customer support and simplified program can transform
a beginner into a techie look-a-like and because their system shortens
the learning curve.
We live in Jamaica which for many is just a place you may have visited
once on vacation or have heard about when one of many tropical
hurricanes landed or when our world famous sprinters broke a
world record. It is a small island in the Caribbean sea named
by its original occupants the Tainos for its natural beauty and its
abundance of water.
Apart
from the inspiration gained from the natural beauty that surrounds us,
Paul continues to be inspired by National Geographic publications
especially:
- Through
the Lens: National Geographic's Greatest Photographs

- Wide
Angle: National Geographic Greatest Places

- National
Geographic: The Photographs (National Geographic Collectors Series)

Take a tour with us as we show you some of the sights here on our
island home. There is more to it than Negril, Montego Bay or
Ocho Rios although those tourist spots are beautiful too.
Oh yes if you think the header looks rough, it is deliberate. The
logger font is supposed to reflect our abundance of wood and the
colours
you see there are the colours of our flag.
Black, green and gold, symbolising that
hardships there are but the land
is green and the sun shines.
